The Gospel of the Kingdom of God

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matt. 24:14 NIV) 
 

“The gospel of the kingdom of God” is the good news or message concerning things pertaining to the kingdom of God. The purpose of this kingdom message is to provide revelation of the LORD’s (YHVH's) plan to restore all things through Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). The plan of restoration involves salvation from sin, restored dominion of redeemed mankind and the new earth and new heavens. 

A glance back at the initial design of God prior to the fall of mankind will help give greater insight into the purpose for the gospel of the kingdom of God. After God created mankind, the scriptures reveal that man was in an eternal state with authority over the earth realm. 

After mankind sinned, he lost fellowship with God, his dominion over the earth realm and his eternal state. Man was now subject to physical death and his earth realm dominion had been assumed by Satan-the Devil. Due to these existing conditions, the plan of restoration through the gospel of the kingdom of God has been set in motion. The purpose of the kingdom of God is to establish the dominion of the Most High in the earth realm through the redeemer (Yeshua) and redeemed mankind (God's Israel). The scriptures prophetically reveal that the rule and reign of the people of God with Messiah on the earth marks the complete development of the kingdom of God. 

Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) began his ministry preaching the message of the kingdom of God declaring that all should repent. Yeshua (Jesus) made it clear that entrance into the kingdom required that a person be born again. That is to be born of the Spirit of God. Being born again brings a person into restored fellowship with God the Father. This is the first work of God in the process of the restoration. That is fellowship with the Father being restored.

After fellowship with the Father has been restored, the redeemed people of God are put in a position to have restored dominion. Restored dominion begins first in the spirit realm because the kingdom has been established first in the spirit realm . The kingdom of God came in the spirit simultaneously with the first advent of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Listen to these words of Messiah. 

“Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you” (Matt. 12:25-28 NIV).
