In keeping with the ancient pattern of determining the Biblical calendar, NCMMI follows the lunar calendar by the sighting of the Abib (ripening barley) and the sighting of the crescent moon. As a result of keeping with this pattern, our dates of celebrating the Moedim (appointed times) will at times not coincide with the dates established on the Rabbinic Jewish calendar.
